In modern society, economic pressures push doctors toward larger practices with fast-paced, indifferent care. I founded Hart Pediatrics to return to more personalized service. I believe that excellent medical care starts with taking the time to listen to patients and getting to know them and their families. Large practices where patients are shuffled from one doctor or nurse practitioner to another do not provide the personal relationship that is necessary for superior pediatric care. I strive to provide the appropriate amount of time for each patient by scheduling fewer patients per hour. I grew up in a small town in Virginia and my family appreciated the individualized service of the local pediatrician. I try to emulate this small town service in our large metropolitan area by being readily available to my patients. Unlike most local pediatricians, I answer my own phone messages. As a mother of two, I understand the trials of parenthood and the emotional needs of children. I work to make your experiences in my office reassuring and pleasant.
